A glance at the job titles of these public-sector fat cats shows that woke warriors remain firmly at the trough, with diversity and inclusion officers still topping the payroll. Councils splashed a staggering £2,396,126 in total remunerations for these vaguely named “diversity”,“culture” “civic pride”, “inclusion” and naturally “climate change” roles. “It’s clear as day that there are plenty of employees in the top brass of local councils with questionable roles and even more questionable pay packets.”
