Majority of Brits Think Labour Intervenes Too Much in People’s Lives mdi-fullscreen

The Adam Smith Institute dropped a hefty survey on the Tobacco and Vapes Bill and the creeping nanny state. Out of over 6,000 polled, 65% think Labour is out of touch with working people, 54% say the state intervenes too much in people’s lives, and half think Labour ‘loves to ban things we enjoy‘. Six in ten expect tougher criminal controls on tobacco, with 55% thinking people should be able to choose to vape over smoking…

Meanwhile eight in ten Brits say UK taxes are too high in general, and nine in ten think working people get fleeced the most. Reform came out as the most ‘fun’ party at 16%, while 30% of Brits see Farage as the most ‘fun’ candidate, compared to only 15% for Starmer. No shocker then that ‘fun-loving’ Farage emerged as the preferred PM in 355 constituencies when quizzed on these anti-nanny state issues. Starmer is trailing behind as the preferred PM in 291 constituencies, while Kemi Badenoch was the favourite in only six. Kemi was third most preferred PM in her North West Essex seat. Get fun or get done…
