Economists at the National Institute of Economic and Social Research now warn that the UK will have no growth in Q4, with key sectors like services and production grinding to a halt thanks to “budget measures weighing on private sector activity”. Meanwhile business confidence in the UK nosedived to its lowest level in November…
Hailey Low, an associate economist at NIESR said:
“A weakening export climate amid rising global policy uncertainties and declining business confidence, exacerbated by the impact of recently announced budget measures, raises concerns about sustaining the growth momentum.”
