Credit where it is due: The Guardian isn’t wasting time licking its wounds over the US election result. Already they are coming cap in hand to their dwindling readership, begging for cash to keep the printers on under the pretence of “standing up to Trump”:
“We will stand up to these threats, but it will take brave, well-funded independent journalism…If you can afford to help us in this mission, please consider standing up for a free press and supporting the Guardian today from just £1 or $1.”
