Labour have been parading former Conservative voters who have magnanimously come out in support of Labour to show their “change” message is hitting home. One such heroic voter, Milly Hill, has being flaunted by Labour’s PPC for Stroud, Simon Opher.
Milly does a little video on why having met Opher, she will vote Labour:
“I’ve been a Conservative voter all my life, but I think the party has really changed, and I think the last 14 years has done some real damage to the country.”
What is omitted, however, is the fact that Milly Hill is actually a Labour councillor in Stroud. Not exactly the average switch voter…
Lucy Powell on LBC, asked by Tom Swarbrick for her reaction to Labour MP Samantha Niblett’s call for a ‘summer of sex’ debate in Parliament: “I personally don’t own any sex toys, but each to their own… I’m not really sure that’s the right place for it, no.”
