Labour councillor and pickaxe-wielding thug Mohsin Hussain was re-elected in Keighley Central at the locals. Guido reminds his readers of his past: he was convicted of a violent street assault in Keighley which left his victim with “bruising to his head, upper body and legs”. Though Labour MPs and PPCs didn’t seem to mind about his past when they continued to endorse him…

Perhaps they may care about his present. Just before the locals, Hussain took to celebrate the election of Keighley’s new Town Mayor (his own uncle) alongside three convicted crack-cocaine, heroin and cannabis dealers. One of his three friends pleaded guilty to possession and intent to supply of heroin and crack cocaine in 2022, while another was done for intent to supply cannabis in 2020. The third mate of the Labour councillor was jailed for four years after police found 22 wraps of heroin and 96 wraps of crack cocaine in his car in 2014. Surprising considering Starmer’s career and Mr Hussain’s promise to “tackle drug dealing”. That said, Sir Keir did once boast to Guido that he had taken LSD…
Asked about warnings of a civil war in an interview with The House, Reform MP Danny Kruger said:
“Yeah. The only chance of unity for our country is Reform. If we don’t win, or if we win and then make a mess of it, I do fear for our country.”
