One of his three friends pleaded guilty to possession and intent to supply of heroin and crack cocaine in 2022, while another was done for intent to supply cannabis in 2020. The third mate of the Labour councillor was jailed for four years after police found 22 wraps of heroin and 96 wraps of crack cocaine in his car in 2014.
