TalkTV held its wake last Friday to commemorate just two whole years on air. Guido’s mole gets in touch to say it was a “wild” affair, with everyone dressed in black to say goodbye to the channel. None of the presenters that have been kept on attended, only those who lost their jobs…

There was a humorous speech given by a producer, though apparently many guests didn’t find it so funny. One such gag – that this wasn’t Jeremy Kyle’s first TV station he’s murdered – saw one of his producers storm out. Another joke poking fun at the fees paid to The Talk (at one point £2,000 an episode for some presenters) went down like a “cup of cold sick“. Other japes included Nicola Thorpe having “vegan blood” on her hand for turning the channel woke and a few “stomach-churning” jokes about Mike Graham’s “morning glory“. TalkTV, which will now be rebranded to just Talk, will be off air this week…
