Shadow Financial Secretary to the Treasury James Murray came on TalkTV to chat about the plan and got asked: “We’ll punish tax dodgers you said: should you perhaps start with Angela Rayner?” Cue a long back and forth in which Murray claimed she didn’t have to release her “expert” advice…

An exasperated Peter Cardwell ended up saying:

“If basic questions were answered by Angela Rayner, if that advice was put into the public domain, if she did a few media interviews on it for example, you could talk about [your plan] until you were blue in the face.“

So long as Rayner stays silent these questions won’t go away…
