Nigel Adams has told Guido in no uncertain terms that he has no plans to trigger an early by-election following Boris’s referral to police over Partygate, as the Telegraph has just reported:

“It’s utter bollocks. No one has spoken to me, no one has said anything. These people just make things up.”

Sounds like hacks are getting overexcited…
