Socialists in the European Parliament are cheering themselves for the branding exercise of declaring the EU an ‘LGBTIQ Freedom Zone’, whatever that means. Presumably it’s now okay to ignore the discriminatory attitudes and practices in EU countries, considering the EU has declared itself to be progressive.
