Medicines Regulator Approves Oxford-AstraZeneca Vaccine

Health Secretary Matt Hancock tells Sky the roll-out begins Monday. Hancock is confident that the “we can get out of the pandemic by the spring”.

The CEO of AstraZeneca says they could supply 2 million vaccines a week. The government’s current target is 1 million a week. Given the UK is the only country in the world to have approved the vaccine, why?
