Matt Hancock has announced the following places will enter Tier 3:
- Bedfordshire
- Buckinghamshire
- Berkshire
- Peterborough
- Hertfordshire
- Surrey (except Waverley)
- Hastings and Rother
- Portsmouth
- Gosport
- Havant
Areas going down a tier:
- Bristol and North Somerset – from Tier 3 to 2
- Herefordshire – from Tier 2 to 1
