Excess Deaths Figure Finally Goes Negative mdi-fullscreen

New figures from the ONS show excess deaths in England and Wales have gone negative for the first time in 14 weeks, with 65 fewer deaths recorded in the week to June 19th compared with the five year average.

Care homes (-49) and hospitals (-782) account for the significant fall, deaths at home still was 827 greater than the five year average. Encouraging news despite the turn of events in Leicester…
