On GMB this morning, Labour’s health secretary Jonathan Ashworth emphatically denied Labour’s 4-day week proposals would be implemented with regard to the NHS. At Labour’s NHS speech this afternoon, however, John McDonnell said it would be implemented in the NHS – in front of Ashworth himself.
