Hayek’s Nobel Prize Sells At Auction For £1.2 Million

Friedrich A. Hayek’s Nobel Prize in economics has been sold this afternoon for £1,155,000 in a Sotheby’s auction. It had originally been expected to sell for up to £600,000. Hayek would have been very happy to see his value confirmed through market mechanisms…
