The pound has jumped off the back of the news that Dominic Raab expects a Brexit deal to be “finalised” by 21^st November. The news came buried in a letter from the Brexit Secretary to Hilary Benn, chair of the Exiting the EU Committee. Just three weeks time is quite optimistic… 

UPDATE: Awkwardly a DExEU spokesperson later said: “There is no set date for the negotiations to conclude. The 21^st November was the date offered by the Chair of the Select Committee for the Secretary of State to give evidence.”
