A huge new contract means that Berliners will be driven around in British double decker buses from 2020 – despite Brexit taking place on 29th March 2019. BVG, the TFL of Berlin, has awarded British bus manufacturer Alexander Dennis the contract to become the sole supplier of a new fleet of up to 430 new busses to power the new generation of above ground transport in the German capital.
