Last night at Policy Exchange’s summer party the centre-right think tank’s guest speaker was for once – as Theresa May noted – not Michael Gove. Mid-speech the wind threatened to knock over the set bringing back memories of that disastrous last party conference speech. Chief wonk Dean Godson ended up anchoring the backdrop despite being told by the PM “Why don’t you just let it fall down?”…
