Is it any wonder when these were the headlines, that went uncorrected by Corbyn, that 59% of students believed he was promising to either write off or reduce their debts. They read the headlines not the manifesto.

The two areas shaded red show that 18 to 24 year-olds overwhelmingly believed that they were going to see their debts reduced. Now they know better…
