A Law Society backed initiative called ‘The First 100 Years’ has published a timeline celebrating the achievements of women connected to the law profession. Certainly a noble project, or so you might think. Former solicitor Nicola Sturgeon is a deserved inclusion, Baroness Scotland makes the cut and so does Shami Chakrabarti, though for some reason they neglect to mention her more recent work.
