Hungarians have rejected EU quotas for mandatory migrant resettlement in a referendum last night. Eurosceptic President Viktor Orban scored an overwhelming majority of 92.3% to 1.4% but the turnout of 42% was below the 50% needed for the vote to change Hungarian law and the National Election Committee has now declared the result void.
