Telegraph Offers Staff Tax Free Hipster Scooters

tele

Experienced journalists are being laid off at the Telegraph, but the hipster, trendy and trending content producers who still have jobs are being kept sweet. This poster is up in the loos at Buckingham Palace Road, offering Telegraph staff “two adult micro scooters for company workers to use at lunch time or to borrow at the weekends”. They can also be purchased “tax free”. The idea is that the paper’s skinny jeans-wearing Twitter harvesters will be able to “leave late and arrive early”. Bet Boris is regretting having to give up his column now…

“I have had 18 busy and exhilarating years with the Mail and can only thank the paper’s readers and editors, and Lord Rothermere, for their generosity.”
