Tory MEP Geoffrey Van Orden, famous for sharing a Fanny with Kanye West, is a self-proclaimed “dyed-in-the-wool Eurosceptic”. On his own website he boasts:

“I didn’t become an MEP in order to promote the EU – I want us to govern our own country”

Last month he said:

“I oppose so much of what goes on in this place (European Parliament) and in the European Union. I think a lot of it is detrimental to British interests and indeed in the interest of many of our European countries”

And he threatened to back Brexit unless Cameron achieved “tangible change”. You’ll never guess what…

Today he has ‘done a Mak‘ and come out for Remain. Sir Geoffrey is set to retire at the end of this term. This will only fuel the rumours he’s been offered a seat in the Lords…
