Just six days before the London mayoral election and local elections in May, Diane Abbott will be jetting off to Switzerland to dine with investment bankers, tax avoiders and the one percent. Diane will be the guest of the British-Swiss Chamber of Commerce at a three course lunch at one of the most spectacular hotels in Zurich, the iconic Zunfthaus zur Meisen:

Zurich-based businessmen who want to pay £100-a-head to lunch with Diane will enjoy a menu offering veal fricassee with mashed saffron potatoes, roasted pike-perch with parsley foam on potato cream and ratatouille, and white chocolate mousse with apricots jelly and tarragon cream. The cheapest bottle of wine is £32. The two hour lunch followed by keynote speech and Q&A session will take place on April 29.
