Splashed all over the papers this morning is the CBI’s warning that Brexit would cause a “serious economic shock”, costing £100 billion and nearly 1 million jobs. The numbers come from a report by Pricewaterhouse Coopers, the big four firm that – guess what – is in the pay of Brussels. PwC state on their website that they are “proud to be associated with the EU’s key initiatives and programmes, having provided independent advice to the EU over the past decades”.
