Cameron: Watson Should “Examine His Conscience” mdi-fullscreen

Self-appointed Nonce Finder General Tom Watson got a pasting in the weekend papers over his non-apology to Leon Brittan’s family. The PM is piling on the pressure today, telling LBC:

“It’s clear I think that he’s got a lot of questions to answer and the House of Commons Select Committees are quite rightly going to ask him some questions so I’m sure he should answer those questions and examine his conscience about whether he’s said enough so far … “

Corbyn also threw his deputy leader under a bus over the weekend (via @liarpoliticians):

“The investigations will throw up results, and I am sure whatever those results will be taken on board and if necessary we will deal with that with apologies if appropriate.  But I think you really should be asking that question to Tom Watson not me.”

Watson hasn’t tweeted for over a week…
