Feldman Warns Tories to Hide Passes in Manchester mdi-fullscreen

Tory party chairman Lord Feldman has emailed Tory MPs and members warning them to hide their passes when outside the conference secure zone in Manchester. Feldman warns “it will be particularly important” not to wear the passes during the TUC’s anti-austerity march on Sunday. Guido has the email:

Dear xxxxxx,

I am looking forward to welcoming you to our Party Conference in Manchester next week.

For the first time in almost two decades, we have a Conservative Prime Minister at the Cabinet table, surrounded only by Conservative Ministers. I’m delighted that we will have more members and activists with us; with 30% more than the last time we met in Manchester.

You may be aware that a protest march planned by the TUC will take place Sunday 4th October to coincide with the start of our Conference. The march will pass close to the Conference venues and I wanted to let you know that there may be road closures and potentially some local travel disruption on the day. Please allow for additional time for journeys to the Conference venues between 12.00 and 16.00. It will be particularly important not to wear your Conference security passes outside the secure zone. I am, as ever, grateful to Greater Manchester Police for all their efforts to put in place measures to secure the smooth running of Conference.

Andrew Feldman
Conservative Party Chairman

Seems “the kinder, new politics” means Tories have to hide their identities from Corbynistas in the steet…
