Greenpeace have raided the BBC, New York Times and Vice to create their own crack team of “investigative journalists“. The new hires include former Newsnight and Panorama correspondent Meirion Jones and former BBC Energy and Business reporter Damian Kahya. Who would have thought that employees of the impartial BBC would feel at home working for the Green lobby?

Amusingly, Greenpeace’s UK executive director John Sauven has claimed his newly acquired journalists will act as a counter to “a world that is full of greenwash“. That’s Gaia’s job…
