‘Granny-Bashing’ Labour MP Has Case Kicked Out

Readers will remember the curious case of Marie Rimmer, accused of kicking a woman at a polling station before the election. Marie is now the Labour MP for St Helens South and she was in court to face assault charges today, only to have her case somewhat ironically booted out on a technicality:
