Jeremy Corbyn has been lagging behind the other leadership candidates in the donations race, but his backers pulled out all the stops at last night’s “Stand up for Jeremy Corbyn” event at Covent Garden Community Centre. Attendees were invited to enter a raffle for a bottle of Heidsieck & Co “Monopole”, a fine vintage noted for its soft, yet citrusy flavour.
