Green Party leader and junior Parliamentary staffer Natalie Bennett has lashed out at the government’s rather tame plans to do away with public consultations for shale test drilling. According to Bennett, the government are prioritising corporations over people.

“The government knows full well the level of opposition to fracking in the UK. Its refusal to listen to the public shows where its priorities lie – squarely with corporations, rather than people.”
