Cat Smith is even closer than most Labour candidates to big union barons. As Labour’s candidate in Lancaster, Cat is using her union gold on a large billboard poster campaign:
Just the one problem: the billboard isn’t in Lancaster. It’s in Carlisle. 60 miles away. Understandably Labour’s Carlisle candidate, Lee Sheriff, is less than impressed, telling her local paper:
“It’s not like Carlisle and Lancaster are close to each other either in the alphabet or geographically.”
At least Labour have actually managed put this poster on a billboard, unlike their national ‘posters’ which only seem to end up online…
