The Walter Mitty independent parliamentary candidate Mike Hill who is running on an anti-fracking platform in shale-laden Fylde in Lancashire, has accused the local Green party of smearing him for not being anti-fracking enough. In an incoherent and rambling email sent to the local Green PPC Bob Dennett and Caroline Lucas, Hill complained that there has been a concerted effort by the Greens to undermine his anti-fracking credentials and even accused Dennett of asking him to stand down. Apparently there can only be one anti-fracking candidate in the village…

Hill then goes on to brag about his anti-franking credentials, boasting about the 68 public speeches he has made and the number of times he has been inside Parliament.
