The Icelandic Prime Minister Davíð Gunnlaugsson has declared his support for climate change, waxing lyrical about the opportunities it will bring his island nation. In a draft resolution presented yesterday by the Progressive Party, which is chaired by the Prime Minister, several “exciting” global warming opportunities were highlighted, including diversification of food production, increased gain production and commercial tree production.

“With the warming climate creates new and exciting opportunities. Increased field of varieties in commercial forestry and diverse domestic food production is part of the strengthening Icelandic agriculture.”

Gaia is pleased to see a the Nordic vikings continue in their proud traditions of embracing what nature gives them and giving global consensus the middle finger.
