The new department into which it was subsumed is a merger of the Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills (DIUS) and the Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform (BERR). It has been since 2009, since the Government News Service doesn’t seem to actually realise, called the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS).
