Surfacing for the first time since his latest leadership wobble, Ed Miliband popped up at the CBI earlier. And it didn’t exactly go to plan…

First up was the member of the audience who asked him if he “ever wished the other guy had won”:

Then ITV’s Chris Ship seized the mic:

Which gave Ed the perfect chance to crush all those worries about his leadership…

Minutes later the CBI slammed Miliband’s whole speech:

“Labour’s tendency to market intervention could deter investment. We believe open markets are the best way to deliver growth for all.”
