Success! British taxpayers will be delighted to learn that India’s mission to Mars is complete, with the Mangalyaan spacecraft orbiting the Red Planet last night. The Mars Orbiter Mission cost £45 million, or 6% of the £800 million in overseas aid Britain has sent to India since 2010.
