Electoral Commission Claim Voters Too Stupid for Brexit Vote mdi-fullscreen

The Electoral Commission have left themselves open to all sorts of accusations today after making a very loaded intervention into the EU referendum debate and the passage of the Wharton Bill. They are suggesting that the best question would be:

“Should the UK remain a member of the European Union or leave the European Union?”

With STAY or LEAVE as the answers. Instead of the simple Wharton Bill question:

“Do you think United Kingdom should be a member of the European Union?”

With YES or No as answers. The Electoral Commission are pathetically/hilariously claiming that too many people would be confused about “whether UK is currently a member”. A line that won’t wash against the conspiracy accusations.
