In an interview today with the FT Ed Miliband denied as untrue claims that rising energy bills are in part a consequence of his time as energy secretary, when Green Ed put through the 2008 Climate Change Act – which set carbon reduction targets for the UK and raised green taxes. The FT’s influential Lex columnist in the video above says “it is true”.
