Andrew Rawnsley is Away, Still

Last week Gaby Hinsliff filled in for Andrew Rawnsley’s slot in the Observer. He has not appeared in the paper since Guido published these remarkable similarities between his column and a report in the Economist. He has not commented on them, and nor have the Guardian Media Group despite numerous opportunities. Guido is simply asking them whether Rawnsley is on holiday and if so what action will there be to investigate all this, or if Rawnsley is not away what action has been taken regarding his apparent lifting of whole chunks of other people’s work. Guido hears that a replacement is being lined up for this Sunday too…
