Tories Squabble on Press Freedom

Last week Guido brought you the enemies of freedom on the Tory benches, and their coordinated attacks on the free press. Well at least some are putting up a fight against a self-preservation society for politicians and paedos:

Sadly I do not share the enthusiasm shown by my 40 colleagues for statutory regulation of the press (independent or otherwise). Regulation leads to censorship and censorship is the first tool of dictatorships. Sorry but on this occasion I cannot support you.
