The Director of Public Prosecutions has asked for further inquiries into Huhne, his wife and those speeding allegations.

UPDATE: Given the sensitivity of the case you can see why the CPS will want to make sure all bases are covered. It will give them some cover as well by being able blame Essex Police if it all falls through. If they didn’t think there was a case they would have thrown it out by now though…
