The Shadow Chancellor is facing legal action over a claim for his unpaid debts in Leeds County Court on June 17. Having trashed his old office the landlord is chasing payment. Ed Balls has shown his good judgement yet again and not taken the opportunity to settle quietly out of court. His belligerent attitude is earning him plenty of bad publicity locally. Guido wants to know: Who is paying the legal fees?

It may have been his official constituency office but that doesn’t mean the taxpayer should pick up the tab for the mess Balls left behind. Again.
