MP Meets the Workers at Their Co-Op

Greg Hand’s took the fight to The Mirror last night tweeting their “Posh Tory’s Sloane Goal” headline. He was preempting their article that attacked him for apparently “insulting the poor” by holding a surgery in the Peter Jones department store.

Putting aside the  history that the store has as Hand’s Chelsea and Fulham constituency’s “favourite corner shop”, it seems the Mirror are forgetting it’s part of the John Lewis Group and thus a good profit-sharing co-operative, structured to open up management to the benefit of the workers. All rather progressive really…
