In two days Hannan’s lashing of Gordon Brown has been watched a million times*.  How popular is Gordon Brown’s speech on the same day to the EU parliament?   Two thousand views.  Daniel’s YouTube video has received over seven thousand comments in response.  Gordon’s has the comments facility switched off, so not even a  pretence of listening.

So much for Downing Street’s digital engagement.

*Dan’s viral video is now the most popular YouTube ever for a British politican. The next two most popular are Gordon picking his nose on the front bench, which had some 3/4 of a million views in various formats and Blair’s “Am I Bovvered” video for Red Nose Day with some 1/4 million views.
