Dave has just replied in writing on Webcameron to Guido’s question. Lanners Services Limited of the British Virgin Isles is Lord Ashcroft, and he was good for £3.6m. Juniper Trading of Geneva, Switzerland is apparently either Dame Vivien Duffield or Lord Steinberg (confusingly both lent £250,000).

It is we are told a full answer, but Guido still can’t work out who gave £950,000 via the Medlina Foundation of Liechtenstein – since none of those listed here lent that exact amount. Are we missing something?

UPDATE : The very helpful Electoral Commission have got in touch and told Guido that the £950,000 rounded up with interest to a million came from Raymond Richards (deceased). His beneficial interest was passed over to the Medlina Foundation of Liechtenstein. So if his heirs are not Tories, that is one loan to be paid back.
