Tony Spends His First Night In Prison

Guido has confirmed this story and it is absolutely true. Two weeks ago Tony Blair spent a night in a prison.

According to staff at the Malmaison luxury boutique hotel in Oxford, the PM was a guest at the hotel which is a converted HM Prison.

It still retains some of the original features like clanking doors, but now has red carpets, a brasserie, spa and broadband. Porridge is available for breakfast.

Do you think this is part of an acclimatisation program? If things go wrong…

Incidentally, journos are ringing around Labour MPs getting quotes ready in the event of Levy’s arrest and/or Blair being questioned. Tension is high. Matt Carter is nowhere to be seen. Guido has the vintage champagne on ice…

I cannot support an indefinite backstop arrangement, where the EU holds a veto over our ability to exit…”
