Downing Street’s Tom Kelly Changes His Tune Slightly mdi-fullscreen
At this morning’s Lobby briefing the PMOS was asked if the Prime Minister had been interviewed by the police, the PMOS said “No.” Which is going off the expected and well rehearsed script. He usually says “I am not going to comment on an ongoing police investigation.”
The 10 Downing Street website seems to be a horribly off message as well. It headlines the comment “Cash for Peerages”. Odd. If the police prove there was any Cash for Peerages some of the people inside 10 Downing Street will be going to jail. Is this a Freudian confession?
