Tuesday is the New Thursday

Political junkies look forward to Thursday, post PMQs they flick between Newsnight and Question Time, followed up by Andrew Neil’s This Week before they slumber into sleep.

Tonight sees the launch of www.18doughtystreet.com the media monopoly breaking internet TV channel fronted by Iain Dale and Tim Montgomerie (among others). You can text them live in the studio on 83222 – type the word COMMENT before your message. Texts cost 50p. Or email the show at voxpolitix@18doughtystreet.com. That kicks off at 8pm.

The blogosphere’s attack on the old media doesn’t stop there. Tonight at 6.30pm in the studio at Resonance 104.4FM, Piers Gibbon hosts The Knives Are Out, where my old foe Recess Monkey argues and gossips with Guido ahead of PMQs whilst being outwitted by comedienne Hils Barker. So tune into 104.4 FM in the London area or listen online worldwide. You can listen to the trailer here.

You can email the show live on rant@theknivesareout.com or phone your rant in on 0901 393 1044.

Escape from the tyranny of the established media’s political mindset!

Quote of the Day

John McDonnell tells the Gallery/Lobby lunch what the priest told him to do…

‘He persuaded me to do this. He said you need to soften your image. So do Mumsnet and do this…. I’m trying to soften my image.’
