Guido’s Bets mdi-fullscreen
Adam Boulton gave a fabulous tip which Guido acted on – back Prescott to be the next Labour leader. “What?” you say. Well remember that Margaret Beckett was the first woman leader of the Labour party, if Blair should resign or have an accident, say fall under a bus driven by a grumpy scot, Prescott would technically become leader of the Labour party. Guido backed Prezza on Betfair (that is a first) from 100/1 down to 75/1.

Also backed John Reid some time ago at 18/1 laid him at 11/1, he is now 14/1.

Think Alan Johnson is a trading bet at 10/1 but would be in and out on sentiment.

Laid David Miliband when he was in the teens, he has come back out to 35/1 mid-price. He won’t stand until after Labour loses the general election. In the event of uncivil war Hilary Benn might be worth a few quid at 50/1…

UPDATE : Ooops, ignore the Prezza tip – it is not so fabulous – Betfair excludes “acting leaders”.
